Can AtaNova Make It? Bespoke Products Beyond Our Collection

If the product you need is not in AtaNova's standard collection, you can submit it as a Custom Project for review. That does not mean every idea is automatically feasible or accepted for production: feasibility is confirmed only after the product, material, quantity, personalisation, artwork and timing have been reviewed together.

Check the Standard Collection First

Start with Our Collection. If an existing product already fits the job and its listed personalisation options are enough, a bespoke project may not be necessary. Quantity alone does not make an order custom; the key question is whether the requested product, format, material or personalisation goes beyond the standard configuration.

What Kinds of Ideas Can Be Reviewed?

Custom Projects can cover ideas such as business signage, awards or recognition pieces, keepsakes, keyrings, door or room signs, signage for schools, restaurants, offices or hospitality spaces, event materials and coordinated personalised gift sets. These examples show the kinds of briefs that can be reviewed; they are not a guarantee that every size, material, finish or concept is technically suitable.

For the more specific buying logic around signage and recognition pieces, see the Custom Business Signage & Recognition Awards Guide.

What AtaNova Reviews Before Confirming Feasibility

A custom idea is assessed as a complete brief. The review can include:

  • what the product is for and how it will be used;
  • the requested material or material requirements;
  • approximate dimensions or format, when known;
  • quantity;
  • the required personalisation;
  • artwork and file quality;
  • presentation or finishing requirements;
  • the date the project is needed by.

The outcome may be that the idea is feasible as described, feasible with adjustments, or not suitable for the available process. That decision comes after review, not from the initial idea alone.

What to Send in Your Brief

You do not need a finished engineering drawing to start. A useful brief explains the purpose, approximate size or format if known, quantity, personalisation, preferred material or presentation requirements, and the needed-by date. Reference photos or sketches can help explain the direction.

For artwork, SVG, AI, EPS and PDF are preferred when available because they are easier to assess for production. A high-resolution PNG or JPG can also be reviewed. If the artwork needs adjustment, that can be discussed during the project review.

An Enquiry Is the Start of the Review

Submitting an idea through Custom Projects starts the feasibility and scope review. It is not an automatic production acceptance. AtaNova first checks whether the requested combination of product, material, quantity, personalisation, artwork and timing can be supported before confirming the next step.

Design Proof Before Production

Once a project is accepted and the design direction is defined, a digital Design Proof is used before production. For larger or more complex projects, a sample or an additional proof may also be discussed when it makes sense for the product, material or quantity. The appropriate proof path depends on the project.

Custom Project Timing Is Project-Specific

Do not assume that the standard 3–5 business-day delivery window automatically applies to bespoke work. Custom-project production and delivery timing are confirmed for the specific scope after the relevant details have been reviewed.

A Simple Decision Rule

  • Existing product + listed personalisation: use the standard product.
  • Different format, material, coordinated concept or unsupported configuration: submit a Custom Project.
  • Unsure whether it can be made: send the brief for feasibility review rather than assuming yes or no.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can AtaNova make something that is not in the webshop?

You can submit the idea for review. Feasibility is confirmed only after the full brief is assessed.

Can a Custom Project be for one item?

Yes. Custom Projects can be considered for a single piece as well as larger quantities, depending on feasibility.

Do I need a vector file?

Not always. SVG, AI, EPS and PDF are preferred, while a high-resolution PNG or JPG can also be reviewed.

Does submitting a request mean the project is accepted?

No. The enquiry starts the review; production is confirmed only after feasibility and scope have been agreed.
