Custom Orders at AtaNova: How the Bespoke Project Process Works
Already know your request needs custom work? This guide explains what happens after you contact AtaNova. A bespoke project follows a different path from a standard webshop order because the product, dimensions, material or design may need to be reviewed before anything can be quoted or produced.

1. Send the project brief
Describe what you want to make and include the intended use, approximate dimensions, quantity, wording or logo, preferred material or finish where relevant, reference images or sketches, and any important date.
You do not need a production-ready file for first contact. SVG, AI, EPS or PDF are useful for artwork when available; a clear high-resolution PNG or JPG can also help us assess the request.
2. AtaNova reviews feasibility
We check whether the requested product, shape, material, dimensions and personalisation can be made with a suitable production method. If the concept needs technical or visual adjustments to work reliably, those are discussed before the project moves forward.
3. The scope and proposal are defined
Once the request is clear, the suitable production direction can be defined. Price and timing depend on the actual scope: material, dimensions, quantity, artwork complexity, finishing, production steps and whether a physical sample makes sense for a larger or more complex order.
Custom projects therefore do not use one fixed production time or one universal price formula.
4. You receive a Design Proof
Before production, AtaNova prepares a digital Design Proof showing the agreed layout and important details. Check names, spelling, dates, placement, proportions and the overall design carefully. After approval, the proof becomes the shared production reference.
5. Approval, production and quality control
Production starts after the design and project conditions are approved. The piece or batch is then produced and checked before dispatch or collection.
6. Delivery is confirmed for the specific project
Bespoke work should not automatically be given the same delivery expectation as a standard webshop product. The production and delivery plan is confirmed for the individual project.
What helps the process move efficiently?
- a clear description of the finished piece;
- approximate dimensions and quantity;
- reference photos, sketches or files;
- exact text, names or logo where relevant;
- the required date and delivery country.
