Personalised oak cutting board with handle, 340 × 150 × 9 mm

Personalised Cutting Board Buying Guide: Handle, INGE or AYA?

Choose Handle 340 when you want a compact board that is easy to carry and serve from, Handle 480 when you want the largest single work surface, INGE when a juice groove is useful, and AYA when two complementary everyday boards are more practical than one. All four AtaNova options are made from oak, finished with hard wax approved for food contact and personalised by precision laser engraving.

Four Formats, Four Different Kitchen Routines

The AtaNova Personalised Cutting Board comes in four configurations. The important difference is not the engraving method or wood — those are consistent across the range — but the shape, thickness, working area and whether you need a handle, juice groove or two-board set.

  • Handle 340: 340 × 150 × 9 mm, with handle and hanging hole.
  • Handle 480: 480 × 200 × 20 mm, with a larger preparation and serving surface.
  • INGE: 300 × 200 × 20 mm, with a milled juice groove.
  • AYA: set of two smooth oak boards, 300 × 200 × 15 mm and 240 × 180 × 15 mm.

Choose Handle 340 for Compact Preparation and Serving

Handle 340 is the narrowest and most compact option in the AtaNova range. Its 340 × 150 mm surface suits smaller preparation jobs, cheese, snacks and serving. The handle gives you a clear grip when moving the board from kitchen to table, while the hanging hole gives you a practical storage option.

Choose Handle 480 for the Largest Single Surface

At 480 × 200 × 20 mm, Handle 480 provides the largest single working surface of the four configurations. It keeps the carrying and serving advantage of a handle but gives noticeably more room than Handle 340.

Choose it when you regularly prepare or present larger quantities and would rather work on one generous board than use a two-board set.

Choose INGE When Juices and Liquids Matter

INGE measures 300 × 200 × 20 mm and has a milled juice groove around the working area. The groove is the defining feature: it helps catch juices and excess liquid before they run directly off the board.

That makes INGE the most purpose-specific option for juicy ingredients and preparation where liquid control matters.

Choose AYA When Two Boards Are More Useful Than One

AYA contains two smooth oak boards: 300 × 200 × 15 mm and 240 × 180 × 15 mm. The complementary sizes make it easy to keep a larger and smaller board available for different everyday tasks, preparation or serving.

Choose AYA when flexibility matters more than a handle or juice groove. It is the only configuration that gives you two separate boards in one set.

Quick Decision Guide

  • Small kitchen, snacks or easy carrying: Handle 340.
  • Maximum single work and serving space: Handle 480.
  • Juicy ingredients or liquid control: INGE.
  • Two complementary everyday boards: AYA.

If your question is specifically which format makes the most sense for meat, vegetables, cheese or serving, that is a separate use-case decision rather than a size decision.

Personalisation Is Prepared for the Board You Choose

You can add names, a date, a short message or a suitable simple graphic within the available engraving area. AtaNova adapts the layout to the selected board and emails a digital Design Proof before engraving. Check spelling, dates, layout and positioning carefully; production starts after approval.

Because oak is a natural material, grain, markings and colour tone vary from one board to another.

Care Is the Same Across All Four Formats

Wash the boards by hand with dish soap and a sponge under running water, dry immediately, and do not use a dishwasher or leave the wood soaking. Refresh the surface regularly with paraffin oil suitable for wooden kitchen boards.
