Choose the set size from the number of physical bookmarks or separate engravings you actually need.

Keep the engraving concise
The bookmark is only 30 mm wide, so concise wording normally creates the clearest and most balanced result. Suitable standard personalisation includes a name, surname, initials, short quote, brief dedication or small personal message.
There is no single universal character limit because readability depends on the wording and letter shapes. Long paragraphs are not suitable for the narrow engraving area.
Assign the text clearly when every bookmark is different
If the pieces need different wording, identify each one clearly when ordering. For example:

Enter every name, accent, capital letter, punctuation mark and special character exactly as it should be engraved.
Natural birch plywood: what to expect
Each bookmark is made from 3 mm natural birch plywood. Wood grain, colour tone, pattern and engraving contrast can vary slightly between pieces, including pieces in the same set. These small differences are normal characteristics of natural wood.
Laser engraving, not surface printing
The personalisation is precision laser-engraved directly into the birch plywood. It is not a sticker, removable label or surface print. This distinction matters when comparing the product with printed stationery or paper bookmarks.
Use the Design Proof as the final data check
A digital Design Proof is sent by email before engraving. Check:
- the exact spelling of every name;
- initials, accents and punctuation;
- the wording of short quotes or messages;
- which text belongs on each bookmark;
- spacing and overall balance.
