What does NovaMap™ use?
NovaMap™ creates a personalised star-map design from a chosen date and location. Depending on the selected layout, you can also add an optional local time, names and a short message. Time is optional: do not invent an exact time when reliable information is unavailable.
This makes NovaMap™ useful for memories such as a first meeting, proposal, wedding, birth, move or another event where the moment and place matter more than a photograph.
What does AuraLine™ use?
AuraLine™ begins with an uploaded photograph. The main subject is refined into clean line art, shown in a digital Design Proof and then laser-engraved on clear acrylic. A clear, well-lit and recognisable subject gives the design better source information than a dark, distant or blurred image.
AuraLine™ is the stronger choice when a face, pose, pet or shared scene is the part of the memory the recipient would recognise first.
The best test: visual memory or date-and-place memory?
Ask what identifies the memory fastest. If the answer is a photograph, choose AuraLine™. If the answer is a date and location, choose NovaMap™.
A wedding can fit either. Choose NovaMap™ when the wedding date and venue are the meaningful reference. Choose AuraLine™ when one favourite wedding portrait carries the story more strongly.
What if you do not have a good photo?
Do not force a weak image into a photo lamp. If the available photos are too dark, blurry, distant or simply not the image the recipient would choose, NovaMap™ can preserve the date-and-place story without relying on photo quality.

Request a reasonable small correction before approving the design when needed. Once the approved personalised design has been engraved, those engraved details cannot simply be changed.
