• Time: Add the local time when it is known and relevant. This detail is optional.
• Names: Enter all names exactly as they should be engraved.
• Short message: One or two short lines usually create the clearest and most balanced result.
• Special characters: Include accents, punctuation, capital letters and symbols exactly as required.
• Optional base text: Added only when the base engraving option is selected.

How the Design Proof Process Works

1. Enter your personalisation. Submit the date, location and any supported optional details required for your design.

2. We prepare the layout. AtaNova creates the personalised star map and arranges the submitted details into a balanced composition.

3. We email your Design Proof. A digital preview is sent before engraving begins.

4. Check every detail. Review the spelling, date, time, location, names, punctuation, message and complete layout carefully.

5. Approve or request a small adjustment. Reply to the proof email before approval when a reasonable correction is required.

6. We engrave the approved design. Once the approved design has been engraved, the personalised details cannot be changed on the finished acrylic panel.

• Acrylic handling: Hold the acrylic panel by its edges where possible to reduce fingerprints.
• Cleaning: Wipe the panel gently with a soft, dry or slightly damp microfibre cloth.
• Products to avoid: Do not use abrasive sponges, rough paper towels, solvents, alcohol-based cleaners or harsh cleaning products.
• Wood care: Keep the solid wood base away from excess water and prolonged moisture.

The clearest NovaMap™ designs begin with one well-defined event. Choose the moment first, then use the date, location and wording that belong directly to that event.

Choose the Date

Select the date that represents the memory most accurately, such as a wedding day, proposal, first meeting, birth, move or another personal turning point. Check the day, month and year before placing the order and again when reviewing the Design Proof.

Choose the Location

Use the place directly connected to the event. This may be a city, wedding venue, hospital, home town, travel destination or another meaningful location.

When the required city is available in the location options, select it directly. When additional location information is requested, enter it carefully so the star map can be prepared for the intended place.

Decide Whether the Time Matters

The date and location are the essential starting points. Add the local time when it is known and relevant to the event. Do not invent a precise time simply to complete an optional field.

Choose the Names and Message

Names and one short sentence usually create the clearest and most balanced composition. A long paragraph may compete with the star map, while concise wording keeps the moment central.

Possible wording styles include:

You may also use your own wording. Check all spelling, capitalisation, accents, dates, punctuation and special characters exactly as they should appear in the engraving.

Both options illuminate the same personalised acrylic design. The selected option changes the lighting effect, not the star map or engraved personalisation.

Choose 3-Color Light for a simpler three-colour display and a calmer, more restrained appearance.

RGB

Choose RGB when you prefer a broader colour-changing range and greater flexibility in the atmosphere around the lamp.

How the Design Proof and Ordering Process Work

1. Enter the personalisation. Submit the date, location, optional time, names and short message exactly as they should appear.

2. Choose the light option. Select 3-Color Light or RGB.

3. Add optional base text. Enter text for the wooden base only when the corresponding engraving option has been selected.

4. Receive the Design Proof. AtaNova prepares the personalised composition and sends a digital preview by email before engraving.

5. Review every detail. Check the spelling, date, location, optional time, names, message, base text and complete layout.

6. Approve or request a small adjustment. Reply to the proof email when a reasonable correction is required.
