A digital Design Proof before engraving is included.

1. Add your details and select your options. Choose the light option and panel shape, then enter all birth details carefully.

2. We prepare the layout. Your submitted information is arranged in a clear and balanced composition.

3. Receive your Design Proof. A digital preview is sent by email before engraving.

4. Review every detail. Check the name, numbers, date format, time, measurement units, birthplace, message, selected panel shape and complete layout.

5. Approve the design. Approve the layout or reply by email with a small correction.

6. We engrave the approved design. Engraving begins after the final layout has been approved.

Once the approved design has been engraved, the personalised information cannot be changed on the finished acrylic panel.

Safe placement

• Place the lamp on a stable, level and dry indoor surface.
• Keep the USB cable and separate components out of reach of babies and young children.
• Do not place the lamp, acrylic panel, wooden base or cable inside a crib, cot or play area.
• Position the USB cable so that it cannot be pulled and does not create a trip hazard.
• Use the supplied USB cable with a suitable USB power source.
• Keep the lamp away from water, prolonged moisture and strong heat sources.
• Use the lamp indoors only.

Caring for the acrylic panel

• Handle the acrylic by the edges where possible to reduce fingerprints.
• Clean the panel gently with a soft, dry or slightly damp microfibre cloth.
• Do not use abrasive sponges, rough cloths, solvents, alcohol-based cleaners or harsh cleaning products.
• Do not bend the acrylic panel or force it into the wooden base.

Caring for the wooden base

• Protect the wooden LED base, USB cable and connection from water and prolonged moisture.
• Clean the wooden base with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth.
• Protect the lamp from prolonged strong direct sunlight and extreme heat.
• Disconnect the USB cable when the lamp will not be used for an extended period.

Good to know: Very long messages can reduce the readability and visual balance of the personalised layout. One or two short lines are recommended for the optional message.

Check the birth details before ordering

• Check the exact spelling and order of the baby’s name.
• Check accents, apostrophes, hyphens, spaces and capital letters.
• Check the birth date and preferred date format.
• Check the exact birth time and preferred time format.
• Enter the correct number and measurement unit for the weight.
• Enter the correct number and measurement unit for the length.
• Check the spelling of the city, birthplace or hospital name.
• Keep the optional message to one or two short lines where possible.

Use details confirmed by the parents or check them against a reliable birth announcement or document. Do not guess missing birth information.

Choosing the light option

Both light options illuminate the same personalised birth design. The selected option changes the lighting experience but does not change the engraved birth information.

3-Color Light

Choose 3-Color Light for three selectable light tones and a simple, classic lighting experience.

RGB

Choose RGB when you want a broader colour-changing range and more flexibility in the atmosphere of the display.

Choosing the panel shape

Every panel shape presents the same type of birth information. The selected shape mainly determines the outer outline and visual character of the lamp.

Standard Rectangle

Choose Standard Rectangle for a clean, balanced format that presents names, numbers and birth details in a structured layout.

Heart Shape

Choose Heart Shape for a softer and more symbolic outline suited to a personal birth or family keepsake.

Circle Shape

Choose Circle Shape for a rounded and visually compact presentation of the birth details.

Cloud Shape

Choose Cloud Shape for a soft decorative outline that fits naturally into a nursery or child’s room.

Why laser engraving is used

The name and birth details are engraved directly into the premium clear acrylic. The design is not surface printed and is not applied as a sticker.

The engraved lines catch the light from the wooden LED base, making the personalisation more visible when the lamp is illuminated. When the lamp is switched off, the transparent panel retains a clean and understated appearance.

Design Proof and approval process

Before engraving, you will receive a digital Design Proof by email. It shows how the submitted birth details, selected panel shape and complete layout will appear on the finished acrylic panel.

1. Choose the light option. Select 3-Color Light or RGB.

2. Choose the panel shape. Select Standard Rectangle, Heart Shape, Circle Shape or Cloud Shape.

3. Enter the birth details. Add the name, birth date, time, weight, length, birthplace and optional short message exactly as they should appear.

4. We prepare the layout. AtaNova arranges the submitted information in a clear and balanced composition.

5. Receive the Design Proof. The digital preview is sent to the email address used for the order.

6. Review every detail. Check names, numbers, dates, time, measurement units, accents, punctuation, panel shape and line arrangement.

7. Approve the design or request a small correction. Reply by email before the design is engraved.

8. We engrave and inspect the lamp. After approval, the final layout is engraved into the acrylic, paired with the wooden LED base and carefully inspected.

Once the approved design has been engraved, the personalised information cannot be changed on the finished acrylic panel.

When should FirstLight™ be ordered?

Complete the order once the baby’s final name and birth details have been confirmed. If the baby has not yet been born or any information is still missing, wait until the complete and accurate details are available before submitting the personalised order.
