AtaNova makes two versions from an uploaded photo: AuraLine™, a free-standing lamp, and StoryFrame™, a larger framed piece. Both are made to order in our Antwerp atelier and include a Design Proof by email before anything is engraved.

Choosing Between AuraLine™ and StoryFrame™

AuraLine™ is a free-standing lamp: a square clear acrylic panel in an oval solid wood LED base. It suits a bedside table, a shelf or a desk — a quieter, more private placement that many people prefer for a memorial piece.

StoryFrame™ is the framed version, with a larger 23 × 17 cm acrylic panel in a solid wood LED base. It suits a wall or console table and works well when the piece is meant to be seen more prominently, alongside other family photographs.

Both are available with a 3-Colour Light or RGB light option. There is no wrong choice between the two — the placement you have in mind is usually the deciding factor.

If You Do Not Have a Perfect Photo

Memorial orders are often made from whatever photo exists, not a photo taken specifically for this purpose. A slightly soft or imperfectly lit photo of a pet you loved is worth more than waiting for a technically better one that does not exist.

Send what you have. If a photo will not produce a clean result, we will contact you before production and explain honestly what is possible, rather than proceeding with something that will not do the pet justice. Adding a Name or Date

A short engraved name, a date, or a small phrase can be added alongside the portrait if you choose. Some people prefer the photo alone, without any text at all, and that is equally complete as a design. If you do add text, keep it brief — one line reads more clearly than several, and the portrait itself is usually the part that carries the most meaning.
