NovaMap™ turns the night sky connected to a chosen date and location into a personalised star-map design, laser-engraved on clear acrylic. The date and location are the essential starting points. Time is optional and should be added only when it is known and relevant to the moment.
What NovaMap™ Uses
The NovaMap™ Star Map Lamp is built around one selected moment and the place connected to it.
- Date: the meaningful day you want the design to reference.
- Location: the city, venue, hospital, home town or other place connected to that moment.
- Time: optional; add the local time only when it is known and relevant.
- Names and short message: optional wording that connects the star map to the people and story behind it.
Do not invent an exact time simply to fill an optional field. A NovaMap™ can be ordered from a chosen date and location without a precise time.
Why Date and Location Matter
NovaMap™ is not a generic constellation lamp with only the names changed. Its design is prepared around the date and location connected to the event you choose. Those two details identify the moment and place the personalised design is meant to preserve.
The meaning does not depend on making absolute claims that a particular sky can never occur again. The personal value comes from connecting the engraved star-map design to a date, a place and the people who recognise the story.
Do You Need the Exact Time?
No. The active NovaMap™ product specification treats time as optional. Add the local time when it is known and meaningful; leave it out rather than inventing false precision when it is not known.
For the detailed difference between date, time and location inputs, use the Date, Time & Location guide.
What Becomes the Finished Lamp?
The approved composition is laser-engraved on a square clear acrylic panel and placed in an oval solid-wood LED base. NovaMap™ measures approximately 14.5 cm wide × 22 cm high, is USB-powered and is available with 3-Color Light or RGB. The lighting option changes the light effect, not the personal details used in the design.
What to Check in the Design Proof
Before engraving, AtaNova sends a digital Design Proof by email. Check the date, location, optional time, names, short message, spelling, punctuation and complete layout. The proof shows how the submitted information will appear in the design; it is the final opportunity to correct visible details before engraving.
Choose the Details, Not Extra Precision
The clearest NovaMap™ starts with one well-defined event and only the information you can stand behind. If the date and location are certain but the time is not, use the confirmed details and keep the optional time blank. If you need help choosing wording and deciding which details belong in the design, read How to Choose the Right Date, Location and Message for NovaMap™.
